A walk through the streets of Pullman reveals a unique ecosystem, one that blends native species with plants brought in from other regions. This program will explore the flora and fauna that originally thrived in the area, how landscape architect Nathaniel Barrett transformed that natural space to suit the needs of the company town, and how Pullman’s ecosystems have evolved since the Pullman Company era. We’ll also take a look at what changes might be on the horizon as the landscape continues to adapt and grow.
